  • 1 tablespoon Tomato Ketchup or Sauce Replace with spicy mayo for an added kick.
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha Optional; adjust amount to preference.

Equipment

  • Deep pan
  • Cream horn or cone mold
  • Mixing bowl

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the coconut oil in a deep pan until it reaches 175 °C (350 °F). Mold each wonton wrapper around a cream horn or cone mold, pressing the edges to seal tightly.
  2. Carefully place the wonton cones in the hot oil, frying for about 2-3 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
  3. Rinse 1 cup of sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then cook according to package instructions. Mix in 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Flake the sushi-grade tuna steak with a fork, then combine it with 2 tablespoons of Kewpie mayonnaise, a drizzle of tomato sauce, and Sriracha to taste.
  5. Once the wonton cones have cooled, layer each cone with sushi rice, a slice of avocado, and the tuna mixture.
  6. Sprinkle furikake or black sesame seeds on top for garnish before serving.
