Preparation Steps
  1. In a food processor, add the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and a pinch of salt. Blend on medium speed for about 2-3 minutes until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  2. Stir in the finely chopped fresh basil using a spatula. Fold gently until evenly distributed.
  3. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on half of the bread slices.
  4. Arrange the sliced strawberries over the cream cheese-covered bread slices.
  5. Place the remaining slices of bread on top, press down gently, and cut each sandwich into neat triangles.
  6. Cover the sandwiches with a damp paper towel and store in a sealed container. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
