  • 8 oz Shell Pasta Can be substituted with penne or fettuccine
For the Steak
  • 1 lb Steak (Ribeye, Sirloin, or Filet Mignon) Choose your favorite cut for best flavor
For Cooking
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil Or use vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper Freshly ground is best
For the Sauce
  • 4 tbsp Butter Can replace with olive oil for lighter version
  • 4 cloves Minced Garlic Fresh is preferred
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Use half-and-half for a lighter option
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook the shell pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Pat the steak dry and season generously with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear steak bites for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  3. Lower the heat and melt butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Gradually pour in the heavy cream, stirring as it simmers. Whisk in grated Parmesan until the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Add reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
  6. Plate the pasta and top with steak bites, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
