Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the marinade by whisking together soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, sugar, and sesame oil until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Slice the flank or flat iron steak into thin strips and marinate in the mixture for 15 minutes.
  3. Cook the marinated steak in a hot skillet for 3-5 minutes until browned, then set aside.
  4. Sauté the sliced red bell pepper, red onion, and broccoli florets for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Mix together beef broth, extra soy sauce, and sugar for the sauce.
  6. Deglaze the pan with the sauce, stirring to enhance flavors.
  7. Incorporate snow peas and cook for 1-2 minutes until bright.
  8. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and firm, about 3-4 minutes.
  9. Return the cooked steak, combine everything gently, and serve topped with sesame seeds.
