Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 4 cups chopped cabbage
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown beef with onion in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, combine soup, sour cream, and rice. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer cabbage, beef, and rice mixture.
  5. Top with cheese and sprinkle with paprika.
  6. Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15 more minutes until golden.

Notes

  • Use cream of chicken soup for a slightly different flavor.
