Ingredients
  

  • turkey wings separated at joints
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • paprika
  • olive oil
  • yellow onions thinly sliced
  • minced garlic
  • chicken broth
  • cream of chicken soup
  • cornstarch optional, for thickening

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season turkey wings generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the turkey wings until browned on both sides.
  4. Remove wings and sauté onions and garlic in the same pan until softened.
  5. In a bowl, mix chicken broth and cream of chicken soup until smooth.
  6. Place wings in a baking dish, top with sautéed onions and pour the soup mixture over.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 2 hours, until turkey is fork-tender.
  8. If needed, thicken the gravy with cornstarch mixed in water before serving.

Notes

  • For deeper flavor, marinate the turkey wings with seasonings overnight. You can substitute cream of mushroom soup or add hot sauce for a spicy kick.
  • Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or cornbread stuffing.
