Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and sausage for about 5–7 minutes until no longer pink. Drain excess fat and transfer to the slow cooker.
  2. Carve the carrots into pumpkin shapes and gently add to the slow cooker on top of the meats.
  3. Dice the potatoes, chop the celery, and slice the leek. Add these along with minced garlic, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker. Pour in the French onion soup, tomato soup, water, and beef broth. Stir until well combined.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and set it to HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 8 hours.
  5. During the last 10 minutes of cooking, add the mushrooms to the slow cooker.
  6. Once cooked, give a final stir, adjust seasoning, and serve garnished with fresh herbs.
