Prep Time 20 minutes
Total Time 20 minutes
Servings: 25 candy pops
Course: Dessert
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

For the Candy Pops:
  • 25 peanut chews candy pops
  • 2 ½ cups yellow candy melts
  • 2 ½ cups white candy melts
  • ¼ cup orange candy melts
  • ¼ cup pink candy melts
For the Decorations:
  • 24 candy eyes
  • 12 orange flower sprinkles for beaks
  • 6 small pink heart sprinkles for feet
  • Easter sprinkle mix

Method

  1. Melt the Candy Coating: In separate bowls, melt the yellow, white, orange, and pink candy melts according to package instructions. Stir until smooth.
  2. Dip the Candy Pops: Insert lollipop sticks into peanut chews. Dip some pops in yellow candy melts and others in white, ensuring a full coating. Let them set on parchment paper.
  3. Decorate the Chicks: While the coating is still wet, attach candy eyes, orange flower sprinkles for beaks, and pink heart sprinkles for feet. Drizzle pink and orange candy melts for extra detail.
  4. Add the Final Touches: Sprinkle Easter mix over the pops for a festive look.
  5. Set and Serve: Let the pops dry completely before serving or packaging them as gifts.

Notes

  • Work quickly when decorating, as candy melts harden fast.
  • If the candy melts become too thick, add a teaspoon of vegetable oil to thin them.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
