  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (Fan 180°C/Gas 6) and prepare a deep baking dish.
  2. Layer 1000 g of frozen fruit at the bottom of the baking dish and scatter the chopped Granny Smith apples on top.
  3. Sprinkle 4 tbsp of caster sugar, followed by 1 tsp of mixed spice and the zest of one lemon over the fruit mixture.
