Method

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, green onions, cilantro, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a ¾-inch thick patty with an indentation in the center.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, adding oil if using a skillet.
  4. Place the patties on the hot grill or skillet, cooking for 5-6 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes until they reach 165°F (74°C).
  5. While patties are cooking, whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, honey, and sriracha. Add warm water if needed for a smooth consistency.
  6. Assemble the burgers by spreading peanut sauce on the bottom of each bun, adding a patty, more peanut sauce, and your choice of toppings before placing the top bun.
  7. Serve immediately while hot with extra peanut sauce on the side.

Notes

For best results, avoid overmixing the turkey mixture, and let cooked patties rest before assembling to maintain juiciness.
