Preparation Steps
  1. Thaw 1 pound of large shrimp if frozen, peel and devein, rinse under cold water, and pat dry.
  2. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium-high heat; add the shrimp and sauté for 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. Lower heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter; when melted, add 4 minced garlic cloves and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in 1/2 cup of chicken broth and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice; simmer for 3 minutes.
  5. Return the sautéed shrimp to the skillet and toss gently in the sauce for 2 more minutes.
  6. Adjust with salt and black pepper, remove from heat, and garnish with parsley.
