Steps
- Boil water and cook 10 oz. of linguine until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook 1 lb. of ground beef over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add 5 minced garlic cloves to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup beef broth, 1/3 cup soy sauce, 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Whisk together 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of water. Add to the sauce and stir for about 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce for 1-2 minutes.
- Serve topped with sliced green onions.

Notes
For best results, sauté garlic until golden but not burnt. Adjust red pepper flakes to personal taste. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
