Preparation Steps
  1. Gather all ingredients. Slice the beef sirloin thinly and chop the onion and bell peppers.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and sugar. Add sliced beef and marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet. Sauté onions and bell peppers for about 5 minutes until softened.
  4. Push veggies to the side, add marinated beef, and cook for about 5 minutes until browned.
  5. Fold in kimchi, heat through for 2 minutes.
  6. Fill toasted rolls with the beef and kimchi mixture, top with cheese, and broil for about 2 minutes.
