In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the asparagus and a splash of water. Cover and steam for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
Return the shrimp to the skillet, add lemon juice, and toss everything together until well combined. Cook for an additional minute to heat through.
Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
