Ingredients
  

For the Herby Spread
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Chives finely sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Dill chopped fresh
For the Sandwich
  • 2 slices Whole Wheat Bread can be replaced with other bread types
  • 1-2 whole Tomato ripe, firm heirloom or Roma preferred

Method
 

Herby Spread Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, Greek yogurt, chives, and dill. Stir until smooth.
Toasting the Bread
  1. Preheat toaster or oven. Toast the whole wheat bread until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
Slicing Tomatoes
  1. Wash and dry the tomatoes, then slice into ¼-inch rounds carefully.
Assembling the Sandwich
  1. Spread the herby mixture on one side of each slice of toasted bread, top with tomato slices, and close the sandwich.
Garnishing and Serving
  1. Sprinkle chopped dill or chives on top of the tomatoes, season with flaky sea salt or red pepper flakes, and serve immediately.
