Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Ground Beef Noodles
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add 250g of ground beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  2. Stir in 1 teaspoon of grated ginger and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce into the beef. Sauté for another 10-15 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in 1 cup of water and add 2 teaspoons of white pepper powder. Cover and let simmer for about 10 minutes on low heat.
  4. In a separate pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook 120g of vermicelli noodles until al dente, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Mix 2 tablespoons of corn flour with ½ cup of water until smooth and add to the simmering beef sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Toss the cooked vermicelli noodles into the beef sauce, mixing thoroughly. Serve in bowls, garnished with spring onions, dark vinegar, and chili oil.
