Step-by-Step Instructions for Berry Basil Lemonade
- In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of white sugar. Heat over medium-high until the mixture reaches a boil, stirring regularly until the sugar fully dissolves.
- While the syrup cools, prepare the fruit by blending together 1 cup of raspberries and 1 cup of hulled and halved strawberries until smooth.
- Add the blended berry puree into the cooled syrup along with 8-10 torn basil leaves. Stir gently and heat on low for about 5 minutes.
