Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment or grease well.
- In a large bowl, combine beef, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, pepper, garlic powder, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in cheese gently. Shape into a loaf and place in prepared pan.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes. Top with extra cheese and broil for 2–3 minutes until melted and bubbly.
- Rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Add mushrooms or red peppers for extra cheesesteak flair.
- Serve with hoagie rolls or mashed potatoes.
