  • 1 cup Warm Water around 110°F

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Whisk together the flour, yeast, and salt in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Mix the warm milk and warm water in a separate bowl, then pour into the flour mixture.
  3. Knead in olive oil and then knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in an oiled bowl covered with a damp towel for about 1 hour.
  5. Punch down the risen dough, divide it into 8 pieces, and roll into rounds.
  6. Preheat a skillet over high heat and lightly oil it.
  7. Cook each pita for 30-45 seconds on each side until puffs and lightly charred.
  8. Transfer cooked pitas to a plate, stack, and cover to keep warm.
