Preparation and Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy (about 5 minutes). Fold in the flour and baking powder until smooth.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the quark, sugar, and ground poppy seeds. Mix until smooth, then fold in diced peaches.
  4. Once the biscuit base is cooled, spread the creamy filling evenly over the top.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve chilled with powdered sugar or whipped cream.
