Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1 cup passion fruit juice fresh or bottled
  • 1/2 cup sugar adjust to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the black tea bags. Steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
  3. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until fully dissolved. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
  4. In a large pitcher, combine the cooled tea, passion fruit juice, and fresh lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
  5. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to chill.
  6. To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the passion fruit iced tea over the ice.
  7. Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices.
