Wrapping & Cooking Ingredients
  • 1 package Dumpling Wrappers Pre-made wrappers are ideal.
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil For frying.

Method
 

Filling Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, and chili paste. Add chopped scallions, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Mix until uniform.
  2. This should take about 2 minutes.
Filling the Wrappers
  1. Take dumpling wrappers and place a small spoonful of beef filling in the center of each. Wet the edges and fold.
  2. Press edges together tightly to seal.
Frying the Dumplings
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add dumplings.
  2. Fry for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip.
Draining & Garnishing
  1. Transfer fried dumplings to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
  2. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped scallions if desired.
Serving
  1. Serve hot with soy sauce or sriracha mayo for dipping.
