Filling Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, and chili paste. Add chopped scallions, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Mix until uniform.
- This should take about 2 minutes.
Filling the Wrappers
- Take dumpling wrappers and place a small spoonful of beef filling in the center of each. Wet the edges and fold.
- Press edges together tightly to seal.
Frying the Dumplings
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add dumplings.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip.
Draining & Garnishing
- Transfer fried dumplings to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped scallions if desired.
Serving
- Serve hot with soy sauce or sriracha mayo for dipping.
