Preparation Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- Cube four slices of bread and spread evenly across the bottom of the baking dish.
- Layer ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese on top of the bread cubes.
- Cube and distribute the remaining four slices of bread over the meats and cheese.
- Whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers in the baking dish.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
