  • 1/2 cup bacon bits pre-cooked or freshly cooked

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, and bacon bits. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until smooth.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape. Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center. Fold the bottom corner over, tuck in the sides, and roll tightly, sealing the top corner.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Ensure the oil is hot for even frying.
  4. Carefully fry the egg rolls in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil.
  5. Transfer fried egg rolls to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Cool slightly before serving with dipping sauces.
