Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup creamy Caesar dressing homemade or store-bought
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese divided
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (optional garnish)

Method

Preheat Oven:
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Prepare Chicken:
  1. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season each side lightly with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place chicken in the prepared baking dish.
Make Caesar Mixture:
  1. In a bowl, combine Caesar dressing, sour cream, and ¾ cup parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth and creamy.
Top Chicken:
  1. Spread the Caesar mixture generously over each chicken breast, coating evenly. Sprinkle remaining ¼ cup parmesan cheese on top.
Bake:
  1. Bake chicken in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until golden, bubbly, and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C).
Garnish and Serve:
  1. Remove from oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired. Serve hot alongside roasted veggies, salad, or your favorite sides.

Notes

    • Extra Crunch: Sprinkle panko breadcrumbs or crushed croutons on top before baking for added crunch.
    • Chicken Thickness: If chicken breasts are very thick, pound lightly or slice horizontally to ensure even cooking.
    • Homemade Caesar: For extra flavor, consider making your own Caesar dressing.
    • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave.
