  • 1 tsp Black Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika optional
For the Creamy Sauce
  • 5 Tbsp Butter for richness
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tsp Italian Seasoning for flavor complexity
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes to taste
  • 1 cup Sundried Tomatoes in Oil drained and chopped
  • 1/4 cup White Cooking Wine or extra chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups Low-Sodium Chicken Broth for depth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream or coconut cream for dairy-free
  • 2/3 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese optional
  • 8-10 leaves Fresh Basil julienned for garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, gently combine all meatball ingredients until just combined.
  3. Using a 1 1/2-inch scooper, form the meat mixture into meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
  4. Place in the oven and bake the meatballs for approximately 18 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. In a deep skillet, melt butter over medium heat, then add garlic, seasoning, and sundried tomatoes; cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Pour in white cooking wine and let simmer for 2-3 minutes until reduced.
  7. Add chicken broth and whisk in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cooking until slightly thickened.
  8. Gently add the baked meatballs to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  9. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  10. Remove from oven, let sit for a minute, and serve garnished with fresh basil leaves.
