Step-by-Step Instructions for Mango Tart
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine one egg, 2/3 cup + 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, and ½ cup of softened butter. Whisk until well blended and creamy.
  3. Gradually add 2 cups of all-purpose flour, stirring until the dough is crumbly but holds together.
  4. Press the dough evenly into your tart pan, covering the bottom and sides. Use a fork to prick the surface.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside to cool.
  6. While the crust cools, prepare mangoes by slicing tops and bottoms, peeling, and cutting into thin slices.
  7. In a clean bowl, combine 2 oz cream cheese, 1/3 cup yogurt, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon orange zest, 2 tablespoons orange juice, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
  8. Once the crust is cooled, pour the filling into it.
  9. Arrange mango slices on top in a circular pattern.
  10. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour.
  11. Serve and enjoy, optionally garnished with mint leaves.
