Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch pan by lining it with parchment paper or leaving it ungreased.
  2. Press one tube of crescent dough into the bottom of the prepared pan, ensuring an even coverage and pinching seams together.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth, then mix in the granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until velvety.
  4. Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the pressed crescent dough in the pan.
  5. Place the second tube of crescent dough on top of the cheesecake mixture and pinch the seams to seal.
  6. Melt butter and brush it over the top layer of dough, then sprinkle with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown with a slight jiggle in the center.
  8. Allow the bars to cool in the pan for about 1 hour, then slice into squares or bars for serving.
