Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Pour in ½ cup of Irish whiskey, scraping the bottom to loosen browned bits. Simmer for 2 minutes to cook off the alcohol and reduce the liquid.
  4. Slowly stir in 1 cup of heavy cream, reduce heat to low and simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and simmer for 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot over mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or buttered noodles.
