- In a large mixing bowl, combine halved cherry tomatoes, olive oil, and minced garlic. Add red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Toss and let marinate for 4 hours.
- Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt and olive oil, and bring to a boil.
- Add spaghetti or fusilli once water is boiling. Cook until al dente, about 2-3 minutes.
- Drain the pasta, reserving a cup of pasta water. Transfer pasta to the bowl with marinated tomatoes and toss to coat.
