Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar optional for tang

Method

  1. Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken tenders and sear on each side for 3–4 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce. Let simmer for another 2–3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  6. Serve hot with rice, noodles, or vegetables.
  7.

Notes

  • For extra crisp edges, sear the chicken in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  • You can substitute maple syrup for honey if needed.
  • Add a dash of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
