Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Peel and cube the sweet potatoes, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Toss to coat and spread on a baking sheet. Roast for 20-25 minutes.
  3. Mix honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes in a bowl to make the sauce.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add sliced onion, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until soft.
  5. Season chicken with salt and pepper, add to skillet, and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Pour the sauce over the chicken and add the roasted sweet potatoes to the skillet.
  7. Bake in the oven for an additional 12-15 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
