Sweet, salty, and savory, these Asian Hawaiian BBQ Short Ribs are marinated in a flavorful soy-pineapple blend and grilled to juicy perfection.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs flanken-cut beef short ribs
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup pineapple juice
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 green onions chopped

Method
 

  1. Combine soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
  2. Place ribs in a resealable bag; pour marinade over and refrigerate 6–8 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill ribs 3–4 minutes per side.
  5. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • Can also be broiled in the oven.
  • Serve with rice and grilled pineapple.
  • Marinate longer for deeper flavor.
