Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, sautéing for about 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground turkey to the skillet. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the diced zucchini, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes, until the zucchini is tender.
Add the halved cherry tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they are heated through.
If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top and let it melt for a minute.
Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
