  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 pound asparagus trimmed
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on one side of the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and black pepper.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest.
  4. On the other side of the baking sheet, arrange the trimmed asparagus. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the salmon fillets and asparagus, ensuring everything is well coated.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
