Ingredients

  • 4 large lobster tails
  • 4 tbsp butter divided
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. 1. Prepare the Lobster Tails
  2. Using kitchen shears, carefully cut through the top shell of each lobster tail to expose the meat. Gently lift the meat from the shell while keeping it attached at the base. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. 2. Sear the Lobster in Butter
  4. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the lobster tails, flesh-side down, and sear for 2-3 minutes until lightly golden. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  5. 3. Make the Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce
  6. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. 4. Coat the Lobster in Sauce
  8. Return the lobster tails to the skillet, spooning the creamy garlic butter sauce over them. Let them simmer for another 2 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  9. 5. Garnish and Serve
  10. Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

  • If using frozen lobster tails, thaw them overnight in the refrigerator.
  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
  • Serve with pasta, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat.
