Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or thyme
  • 1 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Seasoning Mix: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and oregano.
  4. Coat the Salmon: Brush the seasoning mix evenly over each fillet. Drizzle melted butter on top for extra richness.
  5. Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges. Enjoy!
  7.

Notes

  • Don’t overbake – salmon continues to cook from residual heat after being removed from the oven.
  • For extra crispiness, broil the salmon for the last 2 minutes of baking.
  • Pairing ideas: Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
