  • 2 tbsp Butter For frying

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese with two tablespoons of powdered sugar. Beat until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Take a slice of bread and spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on one side. Layer sliced strawberries and drizzle with jam, then top with another slice of bread.
  3. In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs and milk until well combined to create an egg mixture.
  4. Dip each assembled sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.
  5. Melt one to two tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add sandwiches and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Once cooked, remove sandwiches from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
