Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese diced
  • 1 can 16.3 oz refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat the Oven
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Prepare the Filling
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and minced garlic until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Drain excess fat and remove from heat. Stir in the shredded cheddar and diced Parmesan until melted and combined.
  5. Assemble the Cheeseburger Bombs
  6. Flatten each biscuit dough round into a 4-inch circle. Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef and cheese mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold the edges over the filling, pinching them tightly to seal, forming a ball.
  7. Brush with Garlic Butter
  8. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder. Brush the butter mixture over each sealed dough ball.
  9. Bake
  10. Arrange the bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the biscuits turn golden brown.
  11. Garnish and Serve
  12. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley (optional). Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can use ground turkey or plant-based meat as an alternative to beef.
  • Swap out cheddar for mozzarella or pepper jack for different flavors.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes for the best texture.
  • These can be frozen before baking; just add a few extra minutes to the baking time when cooking from frozen.
