  • 2 cups Chicken Stock (low-sodium) Homemade or store-bought is great.
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (chopped) Can be omitted.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Flakes (optional) Adjust according to taste.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken thighs for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and brown the Italian sausage for 4-5 minutes. Remove and keep warm with the chicken.
  3. Sauté onion, red bell pepper, and garlic in the skillet for 3-5 minutes until softened. Stir occasionally.
  4. Add pickled cherry peppers and juice. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in dry white wine to deglaze the skillet, scraping the bottom. Simmer for about 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in chicken stock and return chicken and sausage to the skillet. Simmer for 20-25 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with parsley and chili flakes, and serve warm.
