  • 1/2 cup Milk Plant-based milk can substitute.
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated is preferred.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cooked shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, chopped green onions, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  3. Unroll the crescent rolls and separate the dough into individual triangles.
  4. Spoon a tablespoon of filling onto the wide end of each triangle and roll tightly, sealing edges.
  5. Dip each rolled pillow into melted butter and then coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Place the pillows on the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. In a saucepan, melt butter, then whisk in flour to create a roux. Gradually add chicken broth and milk, stirring until thickened.
  8. Remove the sauce from heat and stir in grated Parmesan until smooth.
  9. Allow the pillows to cool slightly, then serve drizzled with the creamy sauce.
