Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or butter.
Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the milk or heavy cream to create a spreadable consistency. Add half of the shredded cheese and all the Parmesan cheese, mixing well.
Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each piece of chicken.
Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the top of the chicken.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and enjoy!
