Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups dandelion flowers ensure they are pesticide-free
  • 2 bags tea bags (regular or green) decaffeinated green tea can be used
  • to taste sugar or honey adjust according to your taste
  • 4 cups water for steeping and diluting the tea

Method
 

  1. Gather fresh dandelion flowers from a pesticide-free area and rinse them under cold water.
  2. Boil 4 cups of water in a kettle or saucepan.
  3. In a large gallon container, combine rinsed dandelion flowers and 2 tea bags. Pour in the boiling water.
  4. Cover and steep the mixture for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Remove tea bags and strain out the dandelion flowers. Stir in sugar or honey to taste.
  6. Fill the container with cold water and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
  7. Serve over ice, garnishing with lemon slices or fresh mint.
