  • 6 cups filtered water Best taste with filtered water
  • 4 bags black tea bags Can substitute with green tea
For the Fruit Blend
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, diced Thawed frozen pineapple can be used
  • 2 cups ripe mango, diced Thawed frozen mango is suitable
  • 1 cup cold water Helps in blending the fruit
For Sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons honey Optional; substitute as preferred
For Serving
  • ice cubes Essential for chilling
  • garnish (pineapple wedges and mango slices) Enhances the drink presentation

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Boil the water in a medium saucepan. Once boiling, remove from heat and add tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes, then remove tea bags and let cool.
  2. Blend the diced pineapple, mango, and cold water until smooth and creamy.
  3. Strain the blended fruit mixture into a large pitcher, pressing down with a spatula to extract juice.
  4. Combine the cooled tea with the strained fruit juice in the pitcher. Add honey if desired and stir well.
  5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  6. Serve over ice in tall glasses, garnishing with pineapple wedges and mango slices.
