Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare an 8" x 8" cake pan by lightly greasing it and lining it with parchment paper, allowing overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, add black candy melts and microwave on high for about 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Repeat the melting process for the red candy melts in a separate bowl, stirring every 30 seconds.
  4. Warm the cream cheese frosting in a microwave-safe bowl for about 45 seconds until pleasantly warm but not boiling.
  5. Divide the cream cheese frosting equally between the bowls of melted black and red candy melts and mix thoroughly.
  6. Pour the black candy mixture into the prepared pan, then pour the red mixture in alternating layers to create a marbled effect.
  7. Refrigerate the fudge for about 4 hours to set.
  8. Carefully lift the fudge from the pan and slice it into squares to serve.
