Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven and follow the instructions on your chocolate cake mix. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and bake for 30–35 minutes. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes.
- Poke holes evenly across the cooled cake. Gently heat the hot fudge sauce and pour it over the cake. Allow the fudge to soak in for a few minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the instant pudding mix with milk, whisking until smooth. Pour this pudding over the hot fudge-covered cake and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- Mix another packet of pudding with milk until thickened, then fold in thawed Cool Whip and crushed Oreos. Combine well.
- Spread the Cool Whip and Oreo mixture over the pudding layer, then sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreos on top. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
