Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven and follow the instructions on your chocolate cake mix. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and bake for 30–35 minutes. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes.
  2. Poke holes evenly across the cooled cake. Gently heat the hot fudge sauce and pour it over the cake. Allow the fudge to soak in for a few minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the instant pudding mix with milk, whisking until smooth. Pour this pudding over the hot fudge-covered cake and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  4. Mix another packet of pudding with milk until thickened, then fold in thawed Cool Whip and crushed Oreos. Combine well.
  5. Spread the Cool Whip and Oreo mixture over the pudding layer, then sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreos on top. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
