Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of softened butter with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Use a hand mixer or a whisk to blend these ingredients together until creamy and smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in 4 minced garlic cloves into the creamy butter mixture. Mix well until the garlic is evenly distributed throughout the sauce.
- Add ¼ cup of chopped fresh parsley and 2 tablespoons of chopped chives to the mixture. Gently fold in the herbs until they are thoroughly blended.
- Add in 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of salt, and ½ teaspoon of black pepper. Mix vigorously until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap or transfer the sauce into an airtight container. Place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- When ready to serve, allow the sauce to come to room temperature for a few minutes. Serve warm alongside crusty bread, grilled shrimp, or fresh vegetables.
