  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar Can substitute with coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
For the Wrapper
  • 8 sheets Rice Paper Do not over-soak
For Brushing
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil Use a neutral oil like avocado or canola

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or greased with cooking oil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the peeled and diced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon, mixing well.
  3. Soak rice paper sheets one at a time in warm water for about 10 seconds until pliable, then place on a flat surface.
  4. Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of apple filling onto the center of the rice paper sheet, fold and roll tightly.
  5. Place rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet and brush tops and bottoms with cooking oil.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
