Preparation Instructions
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Tin - Line an 18 x 27 cm slice tin with baking paper, ensuring it covers the sides for easy removal later.
  2. Step 2: Melt Base Ingredients - Combine dark chocolate, condensed milk, and butter in a bowl. Heat in 30-second bursts until melted and smooth, about 1.5 to 2 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Combine Base Mixture - Fold in the crushed arrowroot biscuits and Rice Bubbles until well combined. Transfer to the lined tin and press down firmly.
  4. Step 4: Prepare Topping - Melt additional dark chocolate with vegetable oil in a bowl. Stir until smooth, then incorporate peppermint essence.
  5. Step 5: Assemble and Chill - Pour the melted topping over the base layer, spreading it smoothly. Cover with cling film and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  6. Step 6: Serve - Remove the slice from the tin and cut into pieces. Serve and enjoy!
