Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  3. Knead the dough for 7-9 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  5. Punch down the dough, roll into a rectangle, cut into strips, and overlay two strips to shape Youtiao.
  6. Deep-fry the shaped dough in hot oil at 180-190°C (400°F) until golden brown.
  7. Remove and drain on a wire rack. Serve warm.
